We, as Meyaj-Mayab, believe that our mission is simple, yet profound: To uplift local artisans from Yucatán, Mexico, by providing them with fair opportunities and visibility on a global stage. Here, we celebrate their remarkable talent, heritage, and creativity.

We partner directly with skilled artisans who bring ancient traditions and techniques into contemporary designs. Each piece you encounter on our platform tells a story—of generations passing down their skills, and of cultural threads woven into every product.

Fair Compensation

We DO NOT ask for a especific price with the artisan, they let us know the price he believes is correct and we just add the logistics costs.

For that reason, when an artisan sells his creation with us, he knows he is getting a fair compensation and will be able not just to provide to their families, also they will be able to expand their operation and help more artisans find their way.

Cultural Preservation

Typycally, artisans have been creating and expressing the traditions of their roots for generations. Sadly, this traditions are harder to maintain an are only seen in remote places of the state, that why part of our mission is to explain the history behind every item they sell.

In a future, we are expecting to create an audiovisual representation of each family and how their creations can impact the design of a space. Respecting the traditions and embracing them.

Creative Freedom

We strive to give artisans the space to express their unique voices. Rather than imposing modern market trends, we encourage them to explore their creativity freely. In this way, each product remains true to its cultural roots, allowing for authentic self-expression and innovation.
